Fulfillment Assistant (Part-Time)
Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Fulfillment Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis, for 10-15 hours per week. This position is ideal for someone who has a passion for crafts and sewing, and is excited to be a part of a growing company.
Responsibilities
- Packaging products with attention to detail to ensure secure and attractive presentation.
- Accurately fulfilling online orders by picking and packing products.
- Managing inventory levels and reporting any discrepancies or reordering needs.
- Preparing products for shipment, including labeling and ensuring compliance with shipping regulations.
- Keeping the fulfillment area organized and clean.
- Coordinating with customer service to resolve any issues related to orders.
- Processing returns and exchanges.
- Assisting in the assembly of sewing kits as needed.
- Communicating with shipping carriers and scheduling pick-ups.
- Meeting tight deadlines and ensuring timely shipment of subscription boxes.
Qualifications and Skills
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Basic computer and internet skills; familiarity with Google Suite is a plus.
- Some e-commerce experience is preferred but not necessary.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.
- Detail-oriented and able to follow established systems.
- Self-starter with problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Working Hours
This is a part-time position with flexible hours, requiring 10-15 hours per week. Please note that this position is not remote and requires the candidate to be present at our warehouse in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
